It's no coincidence that nearly every photo of Jacob that exists these days shows him chewing on something. The combination of fascination with new foods (now that we're starting solids) and continual teething has left Jake firmly planted in the "oral" phase.
Of course, he's still working a bit on his hand-eye coordination, as evidenced by the number of mushy rice chex on his bib...
